Whether you’re looking for a laid-back vibe or prefer something fancy-shmancy, the Jersey Shore has plenty of delicious options to choose from. Avenue (Long Branch, NJ)
If you’re hoping for a truly luxurious experience this Mother’s Day, you can’t go wrong with Brunch at Avenue. This top-rated restaurant boasts stunning décor, beautiful ocean views and an exquisite French-influenced menu. The three-course meal is a bit pricey at $38 per person but today’s the day to splurge! Begin with hors d’oeuvres such as Macaroni Gratin or Beet Salad, followed by main courses including Omelettes and Steak Frites. Located on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, it’s a great option for moms looking for an eclectic menu that offers more than just eggs and pancakes. For $28.95, Langosta Lounge is cooking a three-course meal featuring appetizer, entrée and dessert choices from their regular breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The Mad Batter Restaurant (Cape May, NJ)
The charming Mad Batter Restaurant is located in the Carroll Villa Hotel on historic Jackson Street. This local chain, with seven locations scattered throughout New Jersey, is a homey and kid-friendly option for Mother’s Day or any day of the year! They are serving their regular menu with yummy choices such as pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches and salads. A special children’s menu is available as well. In honor of Mother’s Day, Turning Point will be giving out a special token of appreciation to mothers (while supplies last). No call aheads or reservations will be accepted.
